Call for establishing new Telecentre Multimedia Academies

The TMA Consortium, consisting of eight European partners and coordinated by Telecentre-Europe, is inviting organisations outside the Consortium to establish new Telecentre Multimedia Academies. It is an open and free possibility for adult education providers or other organisations dealing with media literacy programmes to establish own Academy.

Final project conference in Zagreb

The conference took place in Zagreb in the end of September. It was focused on presenting the Telecentre Multimedia Academy project to the wide rage of stakeholders and conference guests and a discussion of media and information literacy skills, with a focus on adult education curriculum as well as experience of its implementation in various European countries.

Latvia: Digital stories almost completed

The trainees participating in the Telecentre Multimedia Academy project in Zemgale Region Human Resources and Competences Development Centre (ZRKAC) in Jelgava, Latvia are actively involved to finalize their digital stories. Five groups, each composed by 3 pilot participants, are in different stages of filming, audio recording and editing. Teachers are giving guidance and helping with the finesses of film making.

Shortly about the Pilot in Spain

In Spain the pilot of the 3 modules of the Basic course (Photo, Video and Sound) was carried out by the Telecentre Municipal Grande Cobian of the Oviedo City Council. Training sessions with lots of practical exercices took more than 68 hours.

Single mothers participate in TMA piloting in Serbia

The piloting training on TMA project started in Serbia three weeks ago. A total number of 12 unemployed, single mothers are involved in the basic media training. Previously they finished four basic ICT courses. In the previous three weeks the lectures about photoraphy, video and sound have been rather amusing for the participants.
